Liem can spell his name...sort of

Everytime Liem does something clever that makes us think he is very smart, we go to Mother's group and find out that all the other kids are doing the same thing or better. We were really excited one morning to find out that Liem can recognise some of the letters in his name eg "i" and "m". We went to Mother's group and found out that one of the little girls there can already spell her own name! After much coaching, we are pleased to announce that Liem can also spell his own name...sort of. "L", "i", "g", "m"!

What's that I hear? "Mutter mutter, he gets his stubbornness from you, mutter mutter..."

Liem is a BOY

Liem has just discovered that he is a BOY. He was pointing to a picture of a boy in a jigsaw puzzle and saying "BOY, BOY". Daddy pointed out that Liem is a boy too. "Nooooo" said Liem. "Yes, Liem is a boy" Daddy insisted. "BOY!" said Liem excitedly, pointing to himself. "BOY" said Liem pointing to Daddy. "No, Daddy is a man" said Daddy. "MAN!" said Liem pointing to Daddy. "MAN!" said Liem pointing to Mummy. Sigh. He can nearly say "woman" now....although for a time, the closest he could get was "mona". Sigh.

Jumper

Liem loves his jumper ("jumpon") made specially for him by Aunty My Anh. He refused to take it off even though he was sweating and cried when we finally wrestled it off him to give him a bath.

Dried fruit

This is the way to eat dried fruit. First throw it onto the floor, then pick out the yummy bits and eat them!

Yoga

Liem had loads of fun doing yoga with Ah Yee Hsiu Pin. After he got bored with yoga, he played with his car.
