Train ride from Queenscliff to Laker's Siding

We had a day trip to Queenscliff - ate at the award-winning pie shop and took the train to Laker's Siding.

We also tried to spend the 42 degree day at the Geelong waterfront but it was just too hot. Ended up at Westfield for free air cond. We really enjoyed our holiday with various family members and hope for many more...

Weribee Zoo

We had a lovely time at the Weribee open range zoo with CY, MC, Keira and Sean. Got to go on a safari bus right onto the plains where the animals live, and then walked around to see the other animals that have to be kept separate.

Blueberry picking at Tuckerberry Hill

This was so much fun...we ended up with about 1 kg each of blueberries and ate a whole pile in the first day!

Watermelon hats

Khiem took Liem to the third day of the Boxing Day test cricket while I went shopping on Bridge Road. I don't know what's with the watermelon hats...

Guns n guns

Liem had such fun playing with guns at his cousins' place that Daddy bought him his own gun... The three boys had great fun playing battle games too...

At the bigger playground

The playground next to Grandma's house is just not that exciting anymore for Liem. We walk to another playground more suitable for older kids...with a flying fox and a big swing...

A good photo for grandma

Here we are trying to get a good photo of the grandchildren for grandma...

1. Let's start with the three most cooperative ones. Tell them to make faces at the camera and they oblige...

2. Then add the younger two...you can stop making faces now, Billy!

3. Look at the camera, Joseph! Oliver and Liem, you can stop making faces now!

4. Eh? Where's Joseph gone? What are you lot at the back doing?

5. Finally! That'll do...
