Being helpful

I was running Liem's bath the other day when he came along and dropped the bath thermometer into the bath. Oh, he's being helpful, I thought, this is a change! He then proceeded to drop 2 plastic spoons, his toy turtle and a red block into the bath. I was just telling him that if he dropped any more toys into the bath, he wouldn't be able to fit into it, when he dropped his clean socks into the bath as well. Hmph...not that helpful after all...

Toys are walking too

Liem has learnt to pick things up, carry them around while he's walking and then drop them in random locations. So far, we've had soccer bear turn up in the kitchen, a plastic mallet under our bed, Lego in Khiem's boots, Lego in the bathroom, in the laundry, everywhere actually and even a plastic block perched on the pedal of the exercise bike. Every night there's a hunt for slippers which have mysteriously moved around the house. We no longer ask questions like, "Why is my hat on the bedroom floor?", "Why is the change mat in the living room?" or "Why is there a teething ring in the bathroom?" The answers are always, "Little Liem!"

Very amusing

At the moment, Liem finds it very amusing to put things on his head...food especially.

At the playground

Not too keen on the swing or slide....but loves playing with the bits and pieces he picks up from the ground. Urgh!

King Liem

It's King Liem! All bow before the king!

(Unless it's actually Captain Pooey Pants
as his dad calls him).

Grace's revenge

When Liem visited his buddy Grace, he ate all her toys. Grace came to visit Liem and this was her chance to get her revenge. She did play with Liem's toys but didn't stoop to eating them (wise move, they've all got boy germs anyway).

Reading Terry Pratchett

Reading Terry Pratchett already??? If you look closely, the little genius is even reading upside down!

Off he went!

The little guy is walking and has been for a while now. We let him go free in the Darling Harbour playground and off he went!
