Catch up with Chui Mae

Right after we got back to Australia, we met up with an old friend Chui Mae and her family. This is the only picture I got because my memory card was full! Lovely to catch up with old friends and to meet the kids...

Grandparents and grandkids

We've been back from Malaysia a while now and once again I'm behind in my blogging. Chinese New Year was special this year because we got to spend it with lots of family. The kids got special new clothes to wear, received heaps of ang pows (Liem says he's rich in Malaysia and he IS!) and just enjoyed each other's company which is really what it's all about. There's also a special relationship between grandparents and grandchildren I think....and it's very different to that of a parent and a child. Lovely to watch...
