Home with bronchiolitis

We are going to be home for at least one week as Liem has bronchiolitis. Signs and symptoms include:
Bad cough
Runny nose
Fever
Continuing to lie down on change mat even after nappy change
Crying when offered cheese cake
Avoiding food by sticking head between fridge and kitchen cabinet
Sitting in front of blank tv waiting for the Wiggles to come on and
Sleeping on kitchen floor!

Camelia Gardens

First time we've been at Camelia Gardens. Liem had a great time playing with the toy train and then taking a walk to meet some ducks and geese. He was wary with the ducks and geese with good reason as one of the other kids there got pecked!

The long walk

Liem took a long walk with mummy one weekend. He took along his brand new purple toy stroller (the least pink one we could find). Liem made it all the way to Baker's Delight! A walk that normally takes me 15 minutes took us about an hour. Of course we had to stop for 20 minutes at the playground for a play. Lots of distractions along the way... Well done, Liem!

The toy stroller

This pink toy stroller is Liem's favourite toy at day care. He can push it around all day. It travelled with us to Malaysia and back. At the airport when we were going through Customs, he spotted the stroller when we opened up the bag and that was it, such a big fuss was made that we had to take it out to let him push it along until we got to the car. Never get between a boy and his pink stroller.

Eating weet bix

Never thought I would see the day.... Liem now thinks weet bix is really yummy.... He kept saying "Mmmm" so many times that Ah Por asked, "What is Liem eating that's so nice?" Even ate dry weet bix one day.

Happy Ah Por

Ah Por looks very happy in this photo - must have just gotten a cuddle from Liem.

Aunty HP and Liem

Hey, do these two look like twins or is it just me?

Visitors

Liem wasn't a happy boy when all these kids arrived for a CNY party and started to play with his toys. There was screaming and snatching of toys. Luckily it was time for his nap so he was banished upstairs.

Watching tv with Ah Kong

This is what Liem likes - watching tv with someone sitting beside him.

Liem and Granduncle Arthur

Liem had a great time with Granduncle Arthur who was always willing to carry him around to see the neighbour's dog.

Chinese New Year photo

Every few years we take a family photo at the same spot and in the same positions. Thanks to MC for the edited family photo.

Liem didn't like his Chinese New Year suit at all. Probably too hot. There goes RM58...

Reunion dinner

It's always nice to have the family together for the reunion dinner on Chinese New Year eve.

KLCC playground

We went to the KLCC playground on two separate occasions and Liem loved it there! All the playground equipment JUST FOR HIM! He didn't have to chase anyone away at all!

On the second occasion, we also went to the Aquarium where Liem was more interested in the moving walkway than the fish around him. He was so tired after that he fell asleep in the car with one rice cracker in his mouth, one in his left hand and the container of rice crackers in his right hand!
