Short trip to Torquay

Just after Ah Kong and Ah Por left for Malaysia, we drove to Torquay for a short holiday. Liem had great fun playing with his "favourite cousin" Oliver and his "second favourite cousin" Billy. With Grandpa's help, they buried a dead eel that had washed up on the beach. Two days after that, the eel was out again, so they buried it again. And this time they made a separate fake grave so "people keep digging and digging and can't find the eel".

Liem has also grown quite a lot and finds it quite easy to climb now. It's been amazing watching him climb up things with great confidence and independence!

Photos and uncooperativeness

There haven't been many photos of Liem lately....he's been quite uncooperative (to put it mildly)... Examples are in the first two photos...weird poses or hiding of face whenever the camera is taken out...

Then I go and take some photos of pretty spring flowers and SOMEBODY jumps in front of the camera!!!

Ah Kong and Ah Por's visit

A big thanks to Ah Por and Ah Kong for helping us out during the school holidays and looking after Liem for a week. We hope you had a good time and come back again soon!

Robot Liem

Liem participated in the school's "Showcase Spectacular" as a robot. In the first picture, he's the one on the far right. In the second picture, he's in the middle...looks like he forgot to put his robot mask on...although Liem tells me, "You don't need to!".

Ha Fat Da

Happy Father's Day, Daddy!

Playing scrabble with Mummy

And here's what he has to say about playing Scrabble with Mummy and Daddy...

Playing scrabble with Uncle Willie

Here's what Liem drew about playing Scrabble with Uncle Willie...

Aunty Siu Chyn's birthday

This year we were able to celebrate Aunty Siu Chyn's birthday with her as she was actually in Australia in winter! We had a lovely sushi lunch, then home made sausage rolls, curry puffs and Christmas cake for afternoon tea! Yum! Happy birthday, Aunty Siu Chyn!
