The "Hurray for Liem" game

With a smile like that, you just can't help wanting to keep playing the "Hurray for Liem" game. Oof... bad for the back though.

String

Liem has this buzzy bee toy that rattles and clicks as it moves when you pull it along with the string. Funnily enough, Liem is fascinated with the string. He also has a lot of soft toys where they have bells, barking sounds, magnetic thumbs but what he's really interested in are the tags!

Drinking from a cup

I've been trying to teach Liem to drink from a cup with a spout. This is what he does with the cup.

How they've grown!

Look at how big the babies are! All sitting up. It was only a short while ago when they were tiny little dolls lying on the floor together.

Pulling up to standing everywhere

Once Liem learnt how to pull himself up to standing, he started doing it everywhere! There was one day when he fell down a lot - lots of bumps on his head, lots of crying. The next day, he would pull himself up but couldn't come down so he would cry for me to help him down. After a few days of this, he finally learnt to let himself down on his bum.

Yum cha

We knew our lives would change when we had a baby. We just didn't know HOW MUCH our lives would change. "We'll do all the things we used to do, only we'll have a baby with us". We didn't know we wouldn't be able to do some of our favourite things AT ALL. One of our favourite things was to go for yum cha. We've only just recently been able to do that again - Lucky Dragon in Sutherland has really yummy stuff. Mmmm...maybe we'll go there again this weekend. Hahaha!

Pulling up to standing

I was shocked to find Liem pulling himself up to standing by using the sofa. Surely he's not supposed to be doing that yet. He's only just started crawling.

Sitting up in bed

This is what happens when a baby learns to crawl and then learns to sit up from the crawling position - he sits up in bed instead of sleeping. Haiyoh!

Tablecloth

Hmm...I think it's time to get rid of the tablecloth.

The big sushi roll

How, you might ask, did Liem get rolled up in his playmat like a big sushi roll? First, his foot got caught in the elastic loop at the corner of the mat. Then he worked the loop higher and higher up his leg until it was around his thigh. Then he rolled over twice. TADA! Big sushi roll!
