Tulip Time at Bowral

The last time we went to Bowral for the tulip festival was years ago (BL - Before Liem). It was lovely to go back again and enjoy the beautiful tulips, do a bit of shopping at the market, have lunch then head home. Liem then proceeded to build me "Tulip River" on Minecraft. Gotta love him...

Zone athletics and spelling bee

We were surprised to get a notice from the school about an athletics carnival. I thought we just had one. Turns out Liem ran fast enough to represent his school at the 100 m race at the zone athletics carnival. Khiem was able to go for the carnival, all I could do was to take a photo of Liem in the singlet he was lent by the school to wear.

Then Liem won the school junior spelling bee competition and went on to represent his school at the regional spelling bee. This time he was lent a blazer to wear, so I had to take a photo of that too. Again, I was unable to attend. This is what happens when you use all your leave at the start of the year.
