Yet more presents!

God-grandparents came by with yet more presents from themselves and from Ah Kong, Ah Por and Granduncle Arthur. Lucky lucky boy!

Liem got a marvelous toy zoo set for his birthday that he's been playing with every day since he got it. It's got a jigsaw puzzle base, fences, trees, bushes, all sorts of animals, people, even a ticket booth with a turnstile. He kept saying "water" everytime he played with the turnstile and we couldn't work out why until we finally realised that the turnstile looks like a tap. The ticket booth has a small wooden cash register which Liem thinks is a tv. And for some reason, he always arranges the hippo to watch the tv. No idea why.

Hats

Lots of new hats for Liem that he loves to wear. Of course, he somehow manages to influence everyone else to wear hats like him.

Another birthday cake for Liem from Grandma and heaps of birthday presents from Grandma, Grandpa, Aunty My Anh and Uncle Saba! What a lucky boy!

Happy 2nd Birthday!

Happy 2nd Birthday to Liem! Can't believe it's been 2 years already. Mr Liem, of course, took advantage of the fact that it was his birthday to eat only prawn crackers and cake for dinner. Thank you to Ai Leen for the lovely cake!

Bear

Ever since Khiem went to Frankfurt, Liem has been sleeping with a little white bear called "Bear". This means that sometimes he wakes up at night with a wail if Bear has fallen off the cot and Mummy or Daddy has to retrieve Bear so Liem can go back to sleep. During the day Bear sleeps in a bag until it's time for Liem to take him to bed. One of Liem's very first sentences was "Where is the bear?"
