Liem eats cherries...

....and some seeds as well.

We hadn't given Liem cherries before since it's such a hassle getting rid of the seeds. Two days ago we decided to try him out. He was very good, he ate the cherry and then took the seed out of his mouth. Lots of praise for Liem. For every cherry that went in, one seed came out.

Then yesterday he got greedy and started to stuff TWO cherries in his mouth at the same time. Only one seed came out. "Where's the other seed, Liem?" we asked repeatedly. He only looked at us blankly and went to get more cherries. At last count, he has eaten three cherry seeds... No more cherries for Liem until those seeds come out!

Molars!

Liem's remaining bottom front teeth (gigi kacip) have just come up and I was waiting for the pointy ones to poke their way out. Then noticed that he had a molar already! We were so thrilled about his molar that we told Liem he was a clever boy (like as though he's so clever he knows how to grow a molar). He wasn't sure what we were praising him for....

After looking carefully, I realised that he had THREE molars - one on each side at the bottom and one more on top! Molars everywhere! Current number of teeth 11!
