On the beach

To me, beaches usually imply warm sand, cool seawater, hot sunshine... Beaches at Torquay can be all those things on occasion. More often they are COLD with freezing winds blowing in from Antarctica.

We got Liem to the beach a few times although he was really reluctant on the last day. I was determined to get him into the water but he was equally determined NOT to. He didn't even want to walk on the sand with his bare feet! Daddy swung into action - dumping Liem into the water. Liem loved it! Cried when we had to leave. I guess I could see that coming.
