Complaints about food

When Liem first started talking, there were only a few words he knew. So when he didn't want to eat something, he would always complain that it was "hot" or "too hot" regardless of whether it was actually hot or not. Then as his vocabulary expanded, things were "too big" and needed to be cut up into tiny pieces. Strawberries, which are his favourite, are never too big and a huge one can easily be stuffed into his mouth using both hands to push it in. Then, food that was the slightest bit hard was given back to us with the complaint "bone". Food with the slightest bit of brown on it eg a piece of apple with a patch of brown skin or a strawberry that hadn't been hulled properly is "dirty". A spoon with some weetbix on it was considered "dirty" and if we told him it wasn't dirty, it would accidentally on purpose get dropped on the floor. Recently, things that Liem do not want to eat are "a bit hyucky"...
